Chick-fil-A wanted to develop an experience that was unexpectedly fun for 2013 Chick-fil-A Leadercast attendees. Leader was asked to leverage the new event mobile app to deliver this experience.
Leader worked with the Chick-fil-A Leadercast team to develop the first mobile application for the event. The app included speaker bios, schedule information, live polling, note taking, and an interactive mobile experience. During the live event, attendees (both live in Atlanta and at host sites around the world) were instructed to use the Chick-fil-A Leadercast mobile app to be part of the program in a way that surprised everyone in attendance.
In addition to the app's success in downloads, it reached 59 countries and 48 U.S. states, and gained 24,000 email opt-ins within the first few weeks. With more than 17,000 hours spent using the app, it quickly became the #26 Overall Free App in Apple App Store.
